Back “At the Crossroads” Year 4 Pt2

Just a few hours left until we move into Part 2 of the Crossroads DTS. This year we are heading back to northern Vietnam. We will be in Ha Noi and Hai Phong with a big team, 23 men, women and children and the two of us. The two halves of the team will be separated by a >2 hour bus ride.

We are winding up our time in Hawaii, the lecture phase finished on Friday. Last week the Thursday night community gathering the teams were commissioned and sent out, over sixty teams to many nations. Our Crossroads DTS has teams going to Vietnam and Malaysia this year, but other schools are off to Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceana, and the Americas. This year a record number of , more than 27,000, Bibles will be distributed in the campaign to End Bible Poverty Now. Or watch Loren Cunningham share the vision in this video, (less than 1650 now)

Dressed for the Love Feast

Last weekend we had our Crossroads Love Feast, a time of great celebration for students, staff and leaders, Many fancy hors d’oeuvres, a New York loin prepared Prime Rib style with stir fried vegetable, rice and potatoes followed by ice cream sundae were prepared by Chef Curtis and the school staff. After dinner entertainment was a talent show of singing, liturgical dance and skits provided by staff and students. It was a lot of fun.

Our last weekend has been full, we are now cleaned and packed, heading to bed early in preparation for the 4 am start and our flights to Hanoi. On Saturday we attended the wedding of Dan, a member of the first team we took to Vietnam, he married a lady he met through his time YWAM.

Our friends at Kona Christian Church blessed us this morning in many ways. It is wonderful to have such a loving and generous church family to do life with while we are here in Hawaii. Thank you.
